Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is just a bit better than the Acer Iconia A3, getting a overall score of 60.5 against 55.2. The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 design is newer, incredibly thinner and somewhat lighter than Acer Iconia A3. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has newer 7.1 Nougat version while Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2, providing you some extra features and increased performance.
Acer Iconia A3 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has 512 MB lesser RAM memory, and they both have 4 cpu cores, the Acer Iconia A3 also counts with a GPU. Acer Iconia A3 features a lot better screen than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a quite bigger display, a little higher pixel density and a slightly higher 800 x 1280 resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Acer Iconia A3, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Acer Iconia A3, because it has a 69 percent greater battery size.
The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features just a bit better camera than Acer Iconia A3. They have a same resolution back camera, the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality.
Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is also very cheap compared to the other tablets.
