Comparison review
Xperia Tablet Z is much better than the Acer Iconia A3, getting a 68.5 score against 55.2. Although Xperia Tablet Z and Acer Iconia A3 were released with only 8 months difference, Xperia Tablet Z is somewhat lighter and extremely thinner. Both tablets in this comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Xperia Tablet Z has a newer 4.4.4 version and Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2 version.
Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a bit better screen than Acer Iconia A3, and although they both have a same size screen, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a lot more pixels per inch in the screen. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a bit more powerful CPU than Acer Iconia A3, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor and a 400 MHz graphics co-processor, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Xperia Tablet Z counts with a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Acer Iconia A3, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 64 GB and 32 GB internal storage capacity. Xperia Tablet Z has a superior battery duration than Acer Iconia A3, because it has a 69 percent greater battery size.
Sony Xperia Tablet Z takes much clearer photographs and videos than Acer Iconia A3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has a much better resolution back-facing camera.
