Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has an overall score of 68.7, which is much better than the Acer Iconia A3's 55.2 general score. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is a way lighter and thinner device than Acer Iconia A3. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has the newer 4.2.2 version while Acer Iconia A3 has Android 4.2.
