The iPad 4 is a lot better than Acer Iconia One 8, having a overall score of 70.8 against 53.7. IPad 4 counts with iOS 7.x operating system, while Acer Iconia One 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The iPad 4 design has the same thickness than the Acer Iconia One 8, but it is incredibly heavier.
Apple iPad 4 counts with just a bit better processing power than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has lesser processing cores (but faster), and they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the Apple iPad 4 also counts with an extra graphics processor. Apple iPad 4 features a way better looking screen than Acer Iconia One 8, because it has a way better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels, a greater pixel number in each screen inch and a larger display.
IPad 4 features much more memory for games and applications than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. Acer Iconia One 8 features a much better battery life than iPad 4. IPad 4 has a much better camera than Acer Iconia One 8. They have a same resolution back camera.
Although Apple iPad 4 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Acer Iconia One 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Acer Iconia One 8. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Apple iPad 4, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Acer Iconia One 8, letting go a couple specs and features.
