Asus VivoTab RT is better than Acer Iconia One 8, having a overall score of 61 against 53.7. Although the Asus VivoTab RT is notably older and way heavier than the Acer Iconia One 8, it's design is still somewhat thinner. Asus VivoTab RT counts with Windows RT operating system, and Acer Iconia One 8 comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
The Asus VivoTab RT has just a bit better processing power than Acer Iconia One 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus VivoTab RT also has a higher amount of RAM. Asus VivoTab RT counts with just a bit better looking display than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has a quite worse pixel amount in each inch in the display, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 768 x 1366px and a larger display.
The Asus VivoTab RT has a way better camera than Acer Iconia One 8, because it has a back camera with a lot higher resolution. Asus VivoTab RT has more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
The Acer Iconia One 8 has a superior battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab RT.
Although Asus VivoTab RT is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Acer Iconia One 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Acer Iconia One 8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Asus VivoTab RT, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Acer Iconia One 8, giving up some features and specifications.
