Asus VivoTab RT is a mid-end portable tablet released some years ago, in 2012, having a 10.1" multi-touch screen, an exceptional 1300 MHz Quad-Core CPU, an 8 MP back-facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front-facing camera.
Being just 0.33 inches thick,this tablet is very thin and comfortable. The Asus VivoTab RT is quite a compact tablet, taking into consideration it features a 10.1" screen and it has just 10.33" long. Asus did an excellent job making the Asus VivoTab RT weight just 18.87 ounces.
Asus decided to design the Asus VivoTab RT using a NVIDIA Tegra 3 T30 system chip, backed up by a very powerful Quad-Core processing unit speeding at 1300 megahertz and a great 2 GB of RAM memory. A great point of this device is its 64 GB big internal storage and an SD memory card expansion slot, allowing you to install hundreds of apps without even thinking about running out of space at all.
The Asus VivoTab RT features two cameras, an 8 MP back side camera and a 2 mega-pixels front side camera. This tablet can also film 1920x1080 Full HD videos. To complete the camera, it also includes some useful characteristics like auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.
Asus packed this tablet with a good level 10.1 inches display, and a resolution of 768 x 1366 , making everything look quite vivid. This display uses Super IPS+ LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
This tablet includes wi-fi capability (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a hotspot), LTE 4G fast internet connection and also HSPA+ connection type, which is a slower 4G technology and 3G fast connection type, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet uses a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.
The Asus VivoTab RT also comes with a couple of interesting features such as NFC, Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Navigation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
The Asus VivoTab RT is not a very good choice considering it is priced 275 dollars, and some similar tablets are being sold much cheaper than that. This device is definitely the right choice for you no matter if you need a portable tablet majorly for internet broswing and social networks or are looking for a gamer tablet.
