Apple iPad Air 2 Review

Apple iPad Air 2 is a brilliantly made tablet released many years ago, having a 1500 MHz 64-bits CPU, a large 9.7 inches multi touch screen, an 8 MP back side camera and a 1.2 megapixels front-facing camera.

This device is offerred in two colors, gray and gold. Apple made a very nice job making this device weight just 15.41 oz. Whereas the iPad Air 2 only has 9.45 inches long, it still manages to contain a 9.7 inches display. This tablet has an inspired design, with a thickness of just 0.24 inches. About its design, this tablet is mostly built with Aluminium, which gives it a premium finish and high resistance.

The iPad Air 2 includes a good looking 9.7 inches screen with a 2048 x 1536 resolution, providing this tablet with a detailed graphic quality. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

The iPad Air 2 ships with a Apple A8X system chip, which holds a very fast 64-bit processor ticking at 1500 MHz with a large 2 GB RAM. The Apple iPad Air 2 counts with an excellent 64 GB internal storage memory and while it doesn't have a slot for an external memory card, it is still enough to store hundreds of applications and even the largest games currently available without worrying about filling it.

This device features wi-fi connection (which it can share with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), LTE (4G) high speed connection type and fast 3G data connection, over HSPA, UMTS, EV-DO A, EV-DO B and EDGE technologies. The Apple iPad Air 2 uses a Nano SIM card to use GSM services and it can use both GSM and CDMA carriers.

This tablet is equipped with two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 1.2 MP front camera. The iPad Air 2 can also shoot videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 fps, and slow motion videos up to 1280x720 (HD) up to 120 fps. To complete the camera, it also includes a large number of cool characteristics: fast burst mode, auto-focus, face detection shooting, digital image stabilization, time lapse video, HDR mode and geo tagging.

The iPad Air 2 features a 7340 mAh big capacity non-removable battery that provides this device a marvelous battery duration. An issue to take into consideration is that this tablet's battery is non-replaceable so you can't change it when it starts to lose its charge, whereas with its 7340 mAh you will probably buy a new portable tablet before that becomes an issue.

This tablet also comes with a handful of useful characteristics as Fingerprint unlock, Bluetooth (for communication with other tablets, computers and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This device might not be a good choice considering it costs $ 275, and some similar tablets can be found for less money.
