Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is a completely amazing Android tablet device released some years ago, in 2014, packing a 12.2 inches multi touch display, a high speed Octa-Core processor (formed by a Quad-Core ticking at 1900 MHz and a Quad-Core running at 1300 megahertz), and two cameras, an 8 megapixels back facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front-facing camera.
Samsung decided to equip this tablet using a Samsung Exynos 5 Octa system chip, packing an extremely fast Octa-Core processor (formed by a Quad-Core running at 1.9 GHz and an extra Quad-Core ticking at 1.3 GHz) and a great 3 GB RAM. Graphic rendering usually uses a lot of processing time, so it also has an ARM Mali-T628 MP6 graphic processing unit speeding at 600 MHz to help the processor with those tasks. A great advantage of the Tab Pro 12.2 is its inmense 64 GB internal storage memory and a slot for SD memory cards, which allows the user to store tons of applications, games, songs, pictures and videos without even thinking about running out of space.
This tablet feels much lighter than what you would expect from a tablet this size. This tablet is incredibly thin, being just 0.31 inches thick. Although this tablet is just 11.64" long, it manages to pack a 12.2" display.
The Tab Pro 12.2 has two cameras, an 8 MP back-facing camera and a 2 MP front facing camera. It also shoots 1920x1080 Full HD videos at 60 fps. In addition, the camera counts with a few good features: auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.
The Tab Pro 12.2 has a good looking 1600 x 2560 12.2" display, which makes it hard to distinguish the pixels taking part of the display. This display uses Super Clear LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.
This tablet includes wifi capability (which it can share with other devices as a mobile hotspot), LTE (4G) fast internet connection and also HSPA+ internet connection, that is a lower speed 4G variation and the fastest 3G connection type, using HSDPA and EDGE technologies. This device works with a SIM card for GSM connection.
This tablet has a huge 9500 mAh non-removable battery, enough to provide the Tab Pro 12.2 with an extremely long battery life. An issue to evaluate is that this tablet's battery is not removable so you can't buy a new battery when it starts to have trouble holding its charge, even though with such a great capacity you will probably discard this device before that becomes an issue.
This device also features a few interesting characteristics like Infrared Transmitter, Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is being sold for 249 dollars, which is not so cheap for comparing with other similar tablets. The Tab Pro 12.2 is probably the correct choice for you no matter if you want it to play games, are looking for a social tablet, want this tablet device to take many pictures or need a tablet for work.
