The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a score of 78, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020)'s 74.6 overall score. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has the older 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Even though Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is a better tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), it must be noted that it's also way older, a bit thicker and way heavier.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has a just a little lower display density, it also counts with a much bigger display and a better resolution of 1600 x 2560. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) features a little bit more memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 512 GB.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a little bit better performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), and although they both have 8 cpu cores and the same RAM memory amount, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has an additional graphics co-processor. Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a very superior battery life than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has a 9500mAh battery size.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) captures better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, although it has slower video frame rate, they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same resolution back-facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 costs a little more money than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
