Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) Review

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is an impressive Android tablet launched some years ago, in 2018, counting with a 8-inches screen, a great 1400 megahertz Quad-Core CPU, a 5 MP back side camera and a 5 mega-pixels front side camera.

Samsung decided to build the Tab A 8.0 (2018) using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 MSM8917 system chip, including a high-tech Quad-Core processor running at 1400 MHz and a huge 2 GB of RAM memory. An amazing feature of the Tab A 8.0 (2018) is the 32 GB huge internal storage memory and an SD extension slot, allowing you to install tons of applications, games, photos and videos without having to worry about how much storage is left.

Samsung only offers this tablet in color black. The Tab A 8.0 (2018) is only 8.13" long, but it manages to hold a 8 inches display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has an amazing design, with a thickness of just 0.35". The Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a bit heavy for a tablet device of this size, weighting 12.64 ounces.

This tablet features two cameras, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 5 megapixels front-facing camera. This tablet also films 1920x1080 Full HD videos at 30 fps.

Samsung equipped the Tab A 8.0 (2018) with a good level 8" screen, and a 800 x 1280 resolution, which makes all images and videos look nice.

This device uses an awesome 5000 mAh Li - Ion non-replaceable battery that can keep it running for several hours and even reach the end of the day without having to charge it at all. An issue to consider is that this device's battery is non-replaceable so you can't change it when it starts losing capacity, even though with such a big battery you will probably discard this tablet before that becomes a real problem.

The Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with wifi capability (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE (4G) high performance connectivity and 3G fast connectivity, supported by HSPA and HSUPA technologies. This tablet works with a Nano SIM card for GSM networks.

This tablet also includes some cool features like Bluetooth (enables communication with other devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS Localization, and some sensors likeLight Sensor and Accelerometer.

The Tab A 8.0 (2018) may not be a good choice considering it is priced $ 250, and some similar tablets are being sold cheaper than that. This device is probably the correct choice for you no matter whether you want a tablet device for work, will use it as a social tablet device, want it to take many photographs or will use it as a gaming tablet device.
