The Huawei MediaPad X2 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), with a 72.7 score against 68.3. Both of these tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei MediaPad X2 has 5.0 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo. The Huawei MediaPad X2 construction is thinner and notably lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), although it was released many years before.

The Huawei MediaPad X2 features a better performing CPU than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a higher amount of RAM memory, a higher number of faster cores and a 64-bits processor. Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1920 x 1200 and way more pixels per inch of display.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) takes better photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad X2, although it has a worse 1920x1080 video definition and a camera with lot less MP resolution. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a better storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei MediaPad X2, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 400 GB.

Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a battery duration that's just as good as the battery lifetime in Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018).
