Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet has a much sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a larger display, a bit more pixels per inch of screen and a lot better resolution of 1200 x 1920. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z2 Tablet, because it has 16 GB more internal memory and an external SD slot that allows up to 400 GB.
Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet counts with a better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet also has an additional GPU and a higher amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a much better camera than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, although it has a back-facing camera with way less MP and a lower 1920x1080 video definition.
The Xperia Z2 Tablet features improved battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a 6000mAh battery size instead of 5000mAh.
