Comparison review

Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), having a 73.1 score against 68.3. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has the previous 4.4.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Galaxy Tab S 10.5's body is notably thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), but it's extremely heavier and was released many years before.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a much sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a lot greater display pixel density, a much bigger display and a much higher resolution of 1600 x 2560. The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has 1 GB more RAM and 4 more processing cores.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a very superior storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 400 GB and 16 GB more internal storage. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a much better battery life than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a 58 percent larger battery capacity.
