Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 Review

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is a very complete Android device released in 2014, which features an extremely fast 2300 megahertz Quad-Core processor, a really big 12.2-inches multi touch display, and two cameras, an 8 MP back facing camera and a 2 megapixels front-facing camera.

Even though the Tab Pro 12.2 is only 11.64" long, it is able to fit a a 12.2 inches display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a wonderful design, with a thickness of just 0.31 inches. The Tab Pro 12.2 feels much lighter than what one would expect from a portable tablet of this size.

Samsung packed this tablet with a very good 12.2" display, and a resolution of 1600 x 2560 , providing this device with a detailed graphical experience. Its display uses Super Clear LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

Samsung ships this tablet with a high-tech Quad-Core processing unit speeding at 2300 megahertz, bundled in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 system chip with a big 3 GB RAM. Graphic calculations often consume lots of processor time, so the Tab Pro 12.2 also has an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit working at 450 MHz to help the processor with those tasks. The Tab Pro 12.2 comes with a 32 GB excellent internal storage memory and an external memory card slot, enough to store hundreds of applications without worrying about how much storage capacity is left.

This tablet offers Wi-Fi connection (which can be shared with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE 4G high speed internet connection and also HSPA+ data connection, a bit slower 4G variation and 3G fast data connection, using HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Tab Pro 12.2 uses a SIM card for GSM carriers.

This tablet features two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 2 megapixels front camera. This tablet also shoots Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 60 fps. In addition, the camera features a couple of nice characteristics: auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.

The Tab Pro 12.2 uses an incredible 9500 mAh non-replaceable battery that provides this device an incredible battery life. An issue to evaluate is that this tablet's battery is not replaceable so you can't change it when it begins to get older, although with such a huge battery size you will probably discard this tablet before it happens.

The Tab Pro 12.2 also includes some nice features as Infrared Blaster, Bluetooth and GPS (Global Positioning System), and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
