Apple iPad 3 Review

Apple iPad 3 is a great portable tablet launched back in 2012, packing a fast Dual-Core processing unit running at 1000 MHz, an enormous 9.7" multi-touch screen, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front camera.

This tablet is available in 2 colors, black and white. The Apple iPad 3 feels a bit heavy comparing with today standards, with a weight of 23 ounces. This tablet has a wonderful design, with a thickness of just 0.37". Even though the iPad 3 is only 9.5 inches long, it is able to fit a a 9.7" screen.

The iPad 3 includes a good level 9.7-inches screen with a 1536 x 2048 resolution, which makes everything look very good. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

Apple sells the iPad 3 with a good performance Dual-Core processor speeding at 1 gigahertz, bundled in the Apple A5X system chip and 1 GB RAM memory. This tablet counts with a 64 GB huge internal storage memory and even though it doesn't include an external SD slot, it it is more than enough to store hundreds of applications and even the largest games currently available without thinking about running out of space.

This tablet counts with Wi-Fi capability (and it can be provided to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot). This tablet doesn't have a sim card, because it doesn't work with GSM connections.

The iPad 3 features two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back camera and a 0.3 megapixels front side camera. It also films videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second. To complete the camera, it also has a few interesting characteristics: auto-focus, digital image stabilization, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

This tablet also includes a few useful characteristics as Bluetooth (provides communication with other portable tablets, computers and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This tablet uses a huge 11560 mAh Li-Polymer non-replaceable battery that provides this tablet an amazing battery duration. An issue to evaluate is that this tablet's battery is non-replaceable so you can't buy a new battery when it starts to last shorter, while having 11560 mAh you will probably replace this tablet before it happens.

The iPad 3 is very overvalued considering it costs 335 dollars, while other similar devices are being sold for much less than that.
