Apple iPad 3 Review

Apple iPad 3 is a very solid device released some years ago, in 2012, having a good performance Dual-Core processor clocking at 1 GHz, a large 9.7" multi-touch capacitive screen, and 2 cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 0.3 MP front camera.

The Apple iPad 3 feels a bit heavy comparing with today standards, with a weight of 23 oz. This device is just 9.5" long and 7.31" wide, but it is able to fit a a 9.7 inches display. Being just 0.37 inches thick,the iPad 3 is slim and good-looking. Apple made the iPad 3 in black and white.

Apple sells the iPad 3 with a good performance Dual-Core CPU running at 1000 MHz, packed into an Apple A5X system chip with 1 GB RAM. A nice aspect of the iPad 3 is its quite big 16 GB internal storage and although it doesn't have an external SD slot, it should be enough to store a couple hundred applications and games, but it may not be enough if you are planning to install some of the largest games currently available.

The iPad 3 counts with wi-fi capability (which it can share with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot). The Apple iPad 3 doesn't have a sim card, because it's not a GSM enabled tablet device.

This device features two cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. It can also shoot videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second. The camera also features some interesting characteristics like auto-focus, face detection shooting, digital image stabilization and geo tagging.

The iPad 3 also features some interesting features like Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This tablet counts with a 11560 mAh massive Li-Polymer non-removable battery, enough to provide the iPad 3 with a marvelous battery life. An issue to take into account is that this tablet's battery is non-replaceable so you can't change it when it starts to last shorter, although with such a big battery you will probably buy a new portable tablet before that happens.

This tablet is being sold for about $ 290, which is a high price for comparing with similar devices.
