Comparison review
IPad Air 2 has a global score of 77.1, which is much better than iPad 3's overall score of 64.7. The iPad Air 2 is a notably newer device, and it's also thinner and lighter than iPad 3. Both of these tablets include iOS OS (operating system), but the iPad Air 2 has the newer 8.x version while iPad 3 has iOS 7.x version, counting with some nice extra features.
Apple iPad Air 2 has a superior CPU than iPad 3, because although it has less cpu cores , it also counts with a 64-bits CPU and 1 GB more RAM. The iPad Air 2 counts with just a bit better looking screen than iPad 3. Both of them have the same pixel density, a screen of the same size and exactly the same resolution of 2048 x 1536.
IPad Air 2 has a bit better camera than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same diafragm aperture, the iPad Air 2 also has a lot higher 8 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera. The Apple iPad Air 2 counts with a much bigger storage for games and applications than Apple iPad 3, because it has more internal storage.
IPad 3 counts with a way better battery lifetime than iPad Air 2, because it has 11560mAh of battery capacity instead of 7340mAh.
Despite of being the best tablet in our current comparison, iPad Air 2 is also the cheapest one.
