Apple iPad 3 Review

Apple iPad 3 is an impressive iOS tablet launched in March 2012, which counts with a fast 1 GHz Dual-Core processing unit, a 9.7-inches display, and two cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front side camera. This time, it seems like Apple forgot about optimizing the weight in this 23 ounces tablet. The iPad 3 has a great 32 GB internal memory and while it doesn't come with a slot for an external memory card, it it is more than enough to store tons of apps, games, photos and videos without thinking about running out of space at all.

This tablet features two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front-facing camera. This tablet can also capture videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second. Additionally, the camera includes a couple of useful characteristics like auto-focus, face detection shooting, digital image stabilization and geo tagging.

This tablet features a 11560 mAh big capacity Li-Polymer non-removable battery that provides the iPad 3 a great battery life. An issue to evaluate is that this tablet's battery isn't replaceable so you can't change it when it starts to have trouble holding its charge, even though with its 11560 mAh you will probably replace this tablet before that becomes a real problem.

This device features wifi connectivity (and it can share it with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot). This device doesn't have a SIM card, because it doesn't work with GSM networks.

The iPad 3 also includes a handful of interesting characteristics as Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Navigation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

Apple sells this tablet for 675 dollars, which is a high price for comparing with similar tablets.
