Apple iPad 4 Review

Apple iPad 4 is a very solid iOS tablet, provisioned with an exceptional 1400 MHz Dual-Core processing unit, a 9.7 inches multi touch screen, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 1.2 MP front camera.

Apple decided to build this device using a high-tech Dual-Core CPU ticking at 1.4 gigahertz, included in an Apple A6X chip with only 1 GB of RAM which is a little disappointing for such a solid portable tablet. Graphic calculations often eats a lot of processor time, so this tablet uses an extra 200 megahertz PowerVR SGX554 graphic processing unit to help the processor with those tasks. The iPad 4 has a 32 GB great internal storage memory and although it doesn't have an external memory card slot, it it is more than enough to store lots of applications, games, pictures and videos without having to worry about running out of space.

This tablet is very slim and comfortable, with a thickness of just 0.37". The iPad 4 is only 9.5 inches long and 7.31 inches wide, but it is still able to fit a a 9.7 inches screen. The iPad 4 is for sale in 2 different colors, black and white. It seems like Apple decided not to care much about the weight in this 23.35 oz tablet.

Apple equipped the iPad 4 with a very good 9.7" display, and a 1536 x 2048 resolution, providing this portable tablet with a good image quality. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

This tablet has two cameras, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 1.2 mega-pixels front camera. This tablet can also capture videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second. Additionally, the camera features some useful characteristics like auto-focus, digital image stabilization, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

The Apple iPad 4 provides wi-fi capability (which can be provided to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G (LTE) high speed connectivity and also HSPA+ data connection, that is a lower speed 4G variation and fast 3G internet connection, supported by HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet uses a Micro SIM card for GSM carriers and it can work with both GSM and CDMA.

This device also includes some interesting characteristics like Bluetooth (provides communication with other tablets, computers and accessories) and GPS, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This tablet is being sold for 375 dollars, not cheap for this kind of tablet. No matter if you want it majorly for social networks, will use it as a work device, need a tablet for playing games or love photography, you will definitely love this tablet.
