Comparison review
IPad Air is better than the iPad 4, getting a 75.7 score against 66.9. The iPad Air is a somewhat thinner and way lighter tablet than iPad 4. These tablets have iOS operating system, but the iPad Air has the newer 8.x version and iPad 4 has iOS 7.x version. The iPad Air has a little bit better screen than iPad 4. Both of them have a screen of the same size, exactly the same resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and the same screen density.
Apple iPad Air counts with a lot bigger memory capacity for applications and games than iPad 4, because it has more internal memory. The Apple iPad Air counts with a little faster CPU than Apple iPad 4, and although they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount, the Apple iPad Air also has a better graphics processor and a 64-bits processing unit.
IPad Air features a much longer battery life than iPad 4. IPad Air and Apple iPad 4 feature very similar cameras, both have the same video frame rate, the same resolution back-facing camera, the same diafragm aperture and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.
The Apple iPad Air is a bit more expensive than Apple iPad 4, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
