Apple iPad 4 Review

Apple iPad 4 is a complete iOS tablet device, featuring an enormous 9.7 inches multi touch display, a high-tech 1.4 GHz Dual-Core CPU, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 1.2 MP front camera.

Apple decided to power the Apple iPad 4 using an extremely fast Dual-Core processing unit clocking at 1.4 GHz, included in an Apple A6X system chip and only 1 GB of RAM which is a little bit poor for a tablet of this level. Graphic calculations usually consume lots of processing power, so it also counts with a 200 megahertz PowerVR SGX554 graphic processing unit to unload the CPU. This tablet counts with aquite big 16 GB internal storage memory and whereas it doesn't have an SD card slot, it is enough to install hundreds of games and apps, although it might not be suitable if you are fan of the heaviest games currently available.

While this tablet just has 9.5" long, it is still able to fit a a 9.7 inches screen. The iPad 4 is very slim, with a thickness of just 0.37". Apple made this tabletavailable just in two different colors, black and white. This time, it seems like Apple forgot about optimizing the weight in this 23.35 ounces portable tablet.

Apple equipped this tablet with a good looking 9.7-inches display, and a resolution of 1536 x 2048 , making everything look very nice. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

The Apple iPad 4 has two cameras, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 1.2 MP front-facing camera. It also films videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 fps. In addition, the camera features a couple of good features like auto-focus, digital image stabilization, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

This tablet provides wi-fi connection (and it can share it with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE 4G great performance connectivity and also HSPA+ data connection, a slower 4G type and fast 3G internet connection, supported by HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The iPad 4 uses a Micro SIM card for GSM services and it can work with both GSM and CDMA carriers.

The iPad 4 also features a handful of cool characteristics such as Bluetooth and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

Apple offers this tablet for $ 300, which is a really high price for a tablet this level. The iPad 4 is the right choice for you if you want a tablet to mostly use social networks, want a work tablet device, want it to take plenty of photos or want a gamer device.
