Apple iPad 3 Review

Apple iPad 3 is a powerful tablet released some years ago, in 2012, counting with a fast Dual-Core CPU clocking at 1 gigahertz, an enormous 9.7-inches touch-screen, and two cameras, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front facing camera.

This tablet is equipped with a Apple A5X system chip, including a powerful 1000 MHz Dual-Core processor with 1 GB RAM. The Apple iPad 3 comes with a 32 GB awesome internal memory and although it doesn't count with an SD card slot, it it is more than enough to install hundreds of apps without having to worry about how much storage capacity is left.

It seems like Apple forgot about weight optimization in this 23.35 oz tablet device. The iPad 3 is only 9.5 inches long, but it manages to hold a 9.7" screen. This device is incredibly thin and good-looking, being just 0.37 inches thick. This device is for sale in two colors, black and white.

The iPad 3 has two cameras, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front facing camera. It is also able to capture videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second. This tablet also has some nice characteristics like auto-focus, digital image stabilization, geo tagging and face detection shooting.

The Apple iPad 3 is equipped with a nice 9.7 inches screen with a 1536 x 2048 resolution, giving this device a good image quality. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This device features wifi connection (which it can share with other devices around, acting as a modem), 4G (LTE) high performance connection type and also HSPA+ connection type, which is a lower speed 4G technology and fast 3G connectivity, using HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This device uses a Micro SIM card for GSM networks.

The iPad 3 also features a couple of interesting characteristics as Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This tablet uses a huge 11560 mAh Li-Polymer non-replaceable battery that provides the iPad 3 an amazing battery life. An issue to take into account is that this device's battery isn't replaceable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it begins losing capacity, although with such a huge battery size you will probably discard this device before that becomes an issue.

Apple offers the Apple iPad 3 for $ 270, which is not very cheap for this kind of tablet.
