Comparison review
Apple iPad 3 is just a bit better than the iPad 4, with a global score of 67.7 against 66.7. Both of these tablets use the same iOS 7.x operating system. The Apple iPad 3 is a just a little bit lighter tablet than the iPad 4, but they are equally thin. Apple iPad 4 has a little more vivid display than Apple iPad 3. They have a screen of the same size, a greater amount of pixels per display inch and the same exact resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels.
The iPad 3 features a much better memory to store more apps and games than Apple iPad 4, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Apple iPad 4 has a bit faster processor than iPad 3, and although they both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores, the Apple iPad 4 also has an additional graphics processing unit.
IPad 4 captures a little bit better photographs and videos than iPad 3. Both have the same resolution back facing camera, a F2.4 aperture, the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates. IPad 3 counts with a much longer battery performance than iPad 4.
The iPad 3 is a bit more expensive than the Apple iPad 4, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
