Comparison review
Apple iPad Air 2 is slightly better than iPad 3, having a 74.2 score against 67.7. Apple iPad Air 2's construction is notably newer, a lot lighter and way thinner than the iPad 3. These tablets work with iOS OS (operating system), but Apple iPad Air 2 has a newer 8.x version while iPad 3 has iOS 7.x, giving a couple nice extra features.
The iPad Air 2 features a superior processing unit than iPad 3, because although it has 1 lesser processing cores (but faster), it also counts with a 64 bits CPU and a larger amount of RAM. The iPad Air 2 has a little bit better looking screen than Apple iPad 3. Both of them have the same quantity of pixels per inch in the display, a display of the same size and an equal 2048 x 1536 resolution.
IPad 3 features a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Apple iPad Air 2, because it has more internal memory. The iPad Air 2 shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have the same video resolution, a F2.4 aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the iPad Air 2 also has a way more mega pixels back facing camera.
IPad 3 has a much longer battery life than iPad Air 2, because it has a 57 percent larger battery capacity.
Even being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, iPad Air 2 is also very cheap compared to the other devices.
