Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is an interesting Windows tablet, equipped with an extremely fast Quad-Core processing unit clocking at 2.4 GHz, a pretty big 8.3-inches multi-touch display, and two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 2.2 MP front camera. Lenovo didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 15.49 oz device. Whereas this device is only 8.83" long and 5.2 inches wide, it's still able to fit a a 8.3" screen. The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is just 0.35 inches thick, taking it to the thinnest tablet's category.
Lenovo decided to design the Lenovo ThinkPad 8 using a Intel Atom Z3770 system chip, backed up by an extremely powerful 2400 MHz Quad-Core CPU and a large 2 GB of RAM memory. This tablet has a 32 GB impressive internal storage and an external memory slot, enough to install hundreds of apps and even the largest games available nowadays without having to worry about running out of space.
Lenovo designed this tablet with a good level 8.3 inches screen, and a resolution of 1920 x 1200 , giving this device a nice graphical experience. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is equipped with two cameras, an 8 MP back facing camera and a 2.2 mega-pixels front facing camera. This device also shoots 1920x1080 Full HD videos. To complete the camera, it also counts with a few interesting characteristics like flash, geo tagging and auto-focus.
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has wi-fi connection (but it can't share it with other devices as a mobile mobile hotspot), 4G (LTE) high speed connection type and the fastest 3G connection type, over HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet doesn't have a SIM card, because it doesn't support GSM connections.
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 also comes with a few interesting characteristics like Bluetooth and GPS Navigation, and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
Lenovo is selling this tablet for 349 dollars, which is not a really offer for comparing with other similar tablets. This tablet is definitely a good choice no matter if you will use it mostly for internet broswing and social networks or want a tablet to play games.
