Apple iPad 2 Review

Apple iPad 2 is an interesting portable tablet released back in 2011, packed with a 1000 megahertz Dual-Core processing unit, a huge 9.7" multi touch capacitive screen, a 0.7 MP back camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera.

This device ships with a great performance 1000 megahertz Dual-Core processing unit, packed into the Apple A5 system chip and 512 MB of RAM memory. To collaborate with graphic intensive games and apps, it also has a PowerVR SGX543 MP2 graphics processing unit working at 200 MHz. A great advantage of this tablet is its large 32 GB internal storage and whereas it doesn't count with a slot for an external memory card, it it is more than enough to store hundreds of apps and even the largest games currently available without even thinking about filling the tablet.

This device is thin and stilized, being just 0.34 inches thick. The iPad 2 is only 9.5 inches long, but it manages to hold a 9.7 inches screen. The iPad 2 is offerred in two different color options, black and white. It appears that Apple decided not to care much about the weight in this 21.41 oz portable tablet.

This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

The Apple iPad 2 has two cameras, a 0.7 megapixels back camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front facing camera. It is also able to shoot videos up to 1280x720 (HD) at 30 frames per second.

The Apple iPad 2 counts with an incredible 6944 mAh Li-Polymer non-replaceable battery, enough to provide this tablet with a great battery duration. An issue to consider is that this tablet's battery is non-replaceable so you can't buy a new battery when it begins to have trouble holding its charge, whereas with such a big battery you will probably buy a new tablet device before it happens.

The iPad 2 counts with Wi-Fi connection (but it can't be provided to other devices acting as a wireless router) and 3G connection type, over EV-DO A technologies. This tablet doesn't use a sim card, because it is not a GSM enabled portable tablet and it works with CDMA networks.

This tablet also comes with a couple of interesting features such as Bluetooth and GPS, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

Apple is offering this device for $ 360, which is not cheap for this type of device. If you want a social tablet device, want it for gaming or need a work device, this tablet is a great choice for you.
