Apple iPad 2 is a mid-end device released some years ago, in 2011, coming with a huge 9.7" capacitive screen, a powerful Dual-Core processing unit clocking at 1 GHz, and two cameras, a 0.7 megapixels back facing camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera.

Apple decided to sell this tablet with a Apple A5 chip, which holds a great performance 1000 megahertz Dual-Core CPU with 512 MB RAM. Graphic calculations generally eats a lot of processing power, so this tablet uses an additional PowerVR SGX543 MP2 graphic processing unit working at 200 MHz to help the processor with those tasks. This tablet comes with aquite big 16 GB internal storage and even though it doesn't count with a slot for an SD memory card, it is enough to store a couple hundred apps, although it might not be suitable if you are planning to install a couple of the largest games available nowadays.

This device is for sale in two color options, black and white. Apple appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 21.2 oz device. The Apple iPad 2 is only 9.5" long and 7.31" wide, but it is able to fit a a 9.7" display. Being just 0.34 inches thick, this tablet is thin and practical.

This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

The Apple iPad 2 features wi-fi capability (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a hotspot). This tablet doesn't have a sim card, because it isn't a GSM tablet.

The iPad 2 features two cameras, a 0.7 MP back side camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera. It is capable of filming videos up to 1280x720 (HD) at 30 frames per second.

This tablet also comes with Bluetooth (2.1, EDR), and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This device comes with a 6944 mAh incredible Li-Polymer non-removable battery that can keep this tablet running for several hours and even reach the end of the day without charging it at all. An issue to consider is that the iPad 2's battery is non-replaceable so you won't be able to replace it when it starts losing capacity, while with such a big battery you will probably replace this portable tablet before it becomes a real problem.

This tablet costs $ 280, which is very expensive for a tablet this level. It doesn't matter whether you want a tablet device for work, want it to play tons of games or will use it as a social tablet, this tablet is definitely the right one for you.
