Microsoft Surface 2 is a complete portable tablet released some years ago, in 2013, which features a very fast Quad-Core CPU running at 1700 megahertz, a big size 10.6-inches multi-touch screen, a 5 mega-pixels back camera and a 3.5 megapixels front camera.
Microsoft sells this tablet with a NVIDIA Tegra 4 (T40) system chip, backed up by a high performance 1.7 gigahertz Quad-Core processor with a huge 2 GB RAM. This device comes with a 32 GB big internal storage memory and a slot for SD memory cards, more than enough to install hundreds of applications without worrying about running out of space at all.
Apparently Microsoft forgot about weight optimization in this 23.84 oz tablet. Whereas the Microsoft Surface 2 is only 10.81" long and 6.79 inches wide, it still manages to pack a 10.6" display. Being just 0.35" thick, the Microsoft Surface 2 is very thin and stilized.
Microsoft designed the Microsoft Surface 2 with a good level 10.6" screen, and a resolution of 1080 x 1920 (Full HD), giving this device a very good graphical experience. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.
The Microsoft Surface 2 provides wi-fi connectivity (although it can't be shared with other devices acting as a hotspot), LTE (4G) fast connectivity and the fastest 3G internet connection, using HSPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. The Microsoft Surface 2 uses a SIM card for GSM networks.
This tablet has two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 3.5 mega-pixels front facing camera. It also shoots 1920x1080 Full HD videos. Additionally, the camera has auto-focus.
The Microsoft Surface 2 also includes a couple of useful characteristics as Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
Microsoft is selling this tablet for 180 dollars, which is high for this kind of device. The Microsoft Surface 2 is definitely a good choice for you no matter if you are looking for a tablet mostly for internet broswing and social networks, are looking for a tablet for gaming or are looking for a work tablet.
