Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 Review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a very solid portable tablet released back in 2014, which features a Quad-Core processing unit ticking at 1200 megahertz, a quite big 8" screen, a 3 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.3 megapixels front-facing camera.

Samsung did an excellent job making this tablet as lightweight as 11.11 ounces. Samsung made this tablet in black and white. This tablet only has 8.27 inches long and 4.88 inches wide, but it still manages to hold a 8" display. The Tab 4 8.0 is thin and practical, being just 0.31" thick.

This tablet is powered by a high-tech Quad-Core processing unit running at 1.2 gigahertz, included in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 system chip and a large 1,5 GB RAM. Graphic intensive applications usually eats a lot of CPU cycles, so the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also counts with a 450 MHz Adreno 305 GPU to unload the CPU. The Tab 4 8.0 has a good 16 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card, allowing the user to install a couple hundred games and apps without any trouble.

This device is equipped with two cameras, a 3 MP back camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera. It can also capture 1280x720 HD videos at 30 frames per second. This tablet also includes geo tagging.

Samsung equipped this tablet with a interesting 8" screen, and a resolution of 1280 x 800 , providing this device with a nice graphic quality. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

This device packs an inmense 4450 mAh Li-Ion removable battery, enough to provide the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 with a marvelous battery life.

This device provides Wi-Fi capability (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a modem or router), LTE 4G great performance data connection and also HSPA+ connection type, which is a lower speed 4G variation and fast 3G connection type, over HSDPA, HSPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Tab 4 8.0 works with a SIM card to use GSM services.

This device also comes with a couple of useful features such as Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS, and a few sensors likeLight Sensor and Accelerometer.

Samsung offers this tablet for 122 dollars, which is rather expensive for a tablet this level. It doesn't matter whether you want it to play games, want it to take many pictures, want it mostly for social networks and internet browsing or need a tablet for work, this tablet is definitely a great choice .
