Asus Fonepad 8 is a nice Android tablet, having a quite big 8 inches multi touch capacitive display, an extremely fast 1.8 GHz Quad-Core processor, and 2 cameras, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 2 MP front side camera.
This tablet is powered by a Intel Atom Z3560 system chip, backed up by a high-tech 1800 MHz Quad-Core CPU and a big 2 GB RAM. This device counts with a good 16 GB internal memory and an external memory slot, which allows the user to install a couple hundred apps and games without running out of space.
This device has a wonderful design, with a thickness of just 0.35". The Asus Fonepad 8 is quite a compact tablet, considering it features a 8 inches display and it is just 8.43 inches long and 4.72 inches wide. This tablet has WiFi connectivity (although it can't provide it to other devices around, acting as a hotspot), HSPA+ (4G) connectivity, which is not so fast as LTE networks and the fastest 3G connection type, supported by HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. The Asus Fonepad 8 supports dual SIM so it can to work with two different carriers or phone numbers at the same time.
This device also includes some interesting features like Bluetooth and GPS Geolocation, and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
Asus is selling this tablet for 119 dollars, which is high for this type of device.
