Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 Review

16 GB     See other variants reviews Score: 54 / 100

Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 is a good quality Android tablet released back in 2013, packing a high-tech Quad-Core processor running at 1.2 GHz, a big 7" multi touch screen, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera.

This tablet feels a bit heavy comparing to other portable tablets , weighting 11.99 ounces. Even though this device is just 7.64 inches long and 4.72" wide, it still manages to contain a 7 inches display. Even though this tablet is slim it's not as thin as many other tablet devices on sale, with a thickness of 0.43 inches. Lenovo made the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000available only in two different colors, black and white.

Lenovo sells this tablet with a MediaTek MT8125 system chip, holding an extremely fast 1.2 gigahertz Quad-Core CPU with only 1 GB of RAM which is a little bit disappointing comparing with this tablet's impressive CPU. Helping with graphic intensive games and apps, it also counts with a PowerVR SGX544 GPU ticking at 384 MHz. The Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 comes with a 16 GB quite large internal memory and a slot for external memory cards, allowing the user to install a couple hundred applications without any problem.

This tablet is equipped with two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back camera and a 0.3 megapixels front side camera. The camera also has auto-focus.

This device includes a nice 600 x 1024 7" screen, which makes all pictures and videos look nice. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

The Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 packs a 3500 mAh inmense Li-Polymer replaceable battery, enough to provide this device with an extremely long battery life.

The Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 provides wifi connectivity (but it can't be provided to other devices around, acting as a hotspot) and the fastest 3G data connection, supported by HSPA technologies. This tablet doesn't have a SIM card, because it is not a GSM tablet device.

This tablet also features a handful of interesting characteristics like Bluetooth and GPS (Global Positioning System), and some sensors likeLight Sensor and Accelerometer.

This device is not a very good choice considering it is priced $ 120, while many similar tablets cost a lot less than that. No matter if you will use it as a social tablet or will use it as a gaming tablet, this device is probably a good choice .
