Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 Review

32 GB     See other variants reviews Score: 55.2 / 100

Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 is a solid Android tablet launched in 2013, featuring a very fast 1200 megahertz Quad-Core processing unit, a good size 7" display, and two cameras, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera.

This tablet's thickness (0.43 inches) is quite far from current standards, but it still feels fine in the hand. This tablet only has 7.64" long and 4.72 inches wide, but it is able to fit a a 7" display. This tablet isn't very light comparing to other tablets , with a weight of 11.99 oz. The Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 is for sale in two different color options, black and white.

Lenovo decided to power this tablet with an extremely fast Quad-Core CPU clocking at 1200 MHz, packed into the MediaTek MT8125 system chip with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little bit low for a portable tablet this good. To handle graphic calculations, it also has a 384 megahertz PowerVR SGX544 graphic processing unit. A good point of this tablet is its 32 GB large internal storage memory and an SD card slot, more than enough to install lots of applications, games, photos and videos without thinking about filling it.

This device is equipped with two cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera. In addition, the camera includes auto-focus.

The Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 is equipped with a good 600 x 1024 7 inches screen, which makes all images and videos look good. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

This tablet includes wi-fi connectivity (although it can't share it with other devices acting as a modem or router) and 3G fast connectivity, using HSPA technologies. The Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 doesn't have a sim card, because it's not a GSM enabled device.

This device also includes some interesting characteristics as Bluetooth and GPS Geolocation, and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor and Accelerometer.

This tablet has a great 3500 mAh Li-Polymer battery that provides this tablet an amazing battery duration.

This tablet is being sold for about $ 79, which is rather expensive for comparing with other similar devices. This tablet is the right one for you if you need a tablet device for gaming or will use it mainly for social networks and internet browsing.
