Google Nexus 7 is a little outdated Android tablet device released in June 2012, featuring a 1.2 megapixels front camera, an extremely powerful 1300 megahertz Quad-Core processor and a big 7" capacitive screen. We will get a better understanding of this portable tablet's wonders when we get into specific details.
The Google Nexus 7 ships with an extremely powerful 1300 MHz Quad-Core processing unit, packed into the NVIDIA Tegra 3 T30L system chip and only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little poor for a tablet this good. Graphic calculations often uses a lot of processing time, so the Google Nexus 7 uses a 416 MHz ULP GeForce graphics processing unit to help handle those graphic tasks. This tablet comes with an interesting 8 GB internal memory and while it doesn't have an external memory slot, it should be enough to store hundreds of applications and games, although it probably wouldn't be suitable if you are planning to install a couple of the largest games available nowadays.
This tablet is slim and comfortable, but it's not as slim as many other portable tablets you can find, with a thickness of 0.41 inches. Google appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 11.99 oz portable tablet.
This tablet has only a 1.2 mega-pixels front facing camera.
Google packed this tablet with a interesting 7" display, and a 800 x 1280 resolution, which makes all photos and videos look colorful and brightful. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.
The Google Nexus 7 has wifi connection (although it can't be provided to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), 4G HSPA+ internet connection, that is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and the fastest 3G connectivity, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet works with a SIM card for GSM carriers.
The Google Nexus 7 also comes with plenty of interesting characteristics like Wireless charger compatibility, NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your tablet close to another NFC device or tag), Bluetooth and GPS (Global Positioning System), and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
This tablet comes with a 4325 mAh incredible Li-Polymer non-removable battery, enough to provide this tablet with an impressive battery life. An issue to take into account is that the Google Nexus 7's battery isn't removable so you can't change it when it begins to last shorter, although with such a great capacity you will probably discard this tablet before it becomes an issue.
Google is offering the Google Nexus 7 for $ 120, which is expensive for comparing with similar devices. No matter if you want a device to play lots of games, are looking for a work portable tablet or want a device to majorly use social networks and internet browsing, you will probably be very satisfied with this tablet.
