The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) is a bit better than the Google Nexus 7, with a general score of 59.7 against 57.1. Even though Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) is a bit heavier than Google Nexus 7, it's just a little bit thinner and newer. These tablets come with Android operating system, but the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1 version.

Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Google Nexus 7, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have the same number of cores, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory. The Google Nexus 7 counts with a more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Google Nexus 7 also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display.
