Comparison review
Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has a score of 65, which is slightly better than Microsoft Surface 2's overall score of 61.8. The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 is a lighter and just a little bit thinner portable tablet than Microsoft Surface 2, even when both were released only 3 months apart. Both of these tablets include Windows operating system, but the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has the older 8 version while Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1.
The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a bit faster CPU than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Microsoft Surface 2 also has a higher number of cores. Microsoft Surface 2 has a slightly better looking display than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a greater number of pixels per inch of screen, a higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a little bit larger screen.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 features much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. Microsoft Surface 2 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. They have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the same video frame rates and a camera with a 5 MP resolution.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 and Microsoft Surface 2 both count with very similar battery durations.
In addition to being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 is also a bargain compared to others.
