Google Nexus 10 Review

32 GB     See other variants reviews Score: 8

Google Nexus 10 is an amazing Android tablet device released some years ago, in 2012, having an extremely powerful Dual-Core processing unit clocking at 1.7 gigahertz, a really big 10.1-inches display, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 1.9 mega-pixels front side camera.

Google decided to build this tablet using a Samsung Exynos 5 chip, which holds an extremely powerful Dual-Core CPU ticking at 1700 MHz with a huge 2 GB RAM. This device counts with a great 32 GB internal storage memory and although it doesn't have an SD memory card expansion slot, it it is more than enough to install lots of apps, games, songs, pictures and videos without thinking about filling the tablet.

It appears that Google forgot about weight optimization in this 21.27 ounces tablet. Whereas the Google Nexus 10 is just 10.39" long and 6.99 inches wide, it's able to fit a a 10.1 inches display. The Google Nexus 10 is very thin and practical, with a thickness of just 0.35".

The Google Nexus 10 has two cameras, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 1.9 megapixels front facing camera. It is also able to shoot videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 fps. This tablet also has some interesting features like flash, auto-focus and geo tagging.

Google equipped this tablet with a nice 10.1 inches display, and a 1600 x 2560 resolution, providing this tablet with a good level image quality. This display uses True RGB Real Stripe PLS capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This tablet provides Wi-Fi capability (although it can't provide it to other devices around, acting as a wireless modem or router). The Google Nexus 10 doesn't use a sim card, because it doesn't support GSM services.

This device comes with a 9000 mAh inmense Li-Polymer non-removable battery providing this device an amazing battery life. An issue to consider is that this tablet's battery is non-replaceable so you can't change it when it begins to lose capacity, while with such a great capacity you will probably discard this tablet before it becomes a real problem.

This tablet also comes with a few interesting features such as Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS Localization, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.

Google sells the Google Nexus 10 for $ 179, which is quite expensive for comparing with other similar devices. If you want this device mainly for social networks, want a device for playing games, want this tablet device to take lots of pictures or need a tablet for work, you will probably love this tablet.
