Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 Review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is an incredible device released back in the year 2013, including a quite big 7-inches display, a Dual-Core CPU speeding at 1200 megahertz, and 2 cameras, a 3 mega-pixels back camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front facing camera.

This device is a bit heavy for a portable tablet of this size, weighting 10.65 ounces. This tablet is just 0.39 inches thick, making it one of the thinnest tablets on sale. Whereas the Tab 3 7.0 just has 7.4" long and 4.37 inches wide, it is able to fit a a 7 inches screen.

Samsung decided to equip this tablet using a very fast 1.2 GHz Dual-Core processor, bundled in a Marvell PXA986 system chip with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a bit poor for a tablet this powerful. To handle graphic calculations, it also has a 450 megahertz Adreno 305 GPU. This device counts with a 16 GB quite big internal storage and an SD memory slot, allowing the user to install a couple hundred games and apps without any trouble.

The Tab 3 7.0 has two cameras, a 3 megapixels back side camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front facing camera.

The Tab 3 7.0 has a good 600 x 1024 7 inches display, making everything look quite vivid. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

The Tab 3 7.0 counts with a huge 4000 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery, enough to provide the Tab 3 7.0 with a great battery duration.

This tablet offers WiFi connection (which it can provide to other devices as a mobile hotspot), 4G LTE great performance internet connection and also HSPA+ data connection, which is a slower 4G variation and the fastest 3G connection type, using HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. The Tab 3 7.0 uses a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

The Tab 3 7.0 also comes with a couple of interesting characteristics such as Infrared Blaster, Bluetooth and GPS Navigation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The Tab 3 7.0 might not be a great choice considering it costs 185 dollars, while other similar tablets are being sold cheaper than that. It doesn't matter whether you will use it as a work portable tablet, will use it for playing games, you love taking photos or want a social tablet, you will probably love this tablet.
