Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) Review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is a mid level device released in February 2012, featuring a pretty big 7-inches multi touch capacitive screen, a powerful 1000 megahertz Dual-Core CPU, and two cameras, a 3 mega-pixels back camera and a 0.3 megapixels front camera. Samsung decided to power this tablet using a powerful 1000 MHz Dual-Core processing unit with 1 GB RAM. This device comes with aquite big 16 GB internal storage memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, which allows the user to install hundreds of applications without any problem.

Samsung didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 12.13 ounces device. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with WiFi connectivity (but it can't share it with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), 4G (HSPA+) connection type, that is not so fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and fast 3G connection type, using HSDPA and UMTS technologies. The Tab 2 (7.0) doesn't have a SIM card, because it isn't a GSM enabled portable tablet.

The Tab 2 (7.0) also includes a handful of useful features like Bluetooth and GPS Navigation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This device features a huge 4000 mAh Li-Ion non-removable battery that can keep it running for many hours without charging it at all. An issue to take into consideration is that the Tab 2 (7.0)'s battery isn't replaceable so you won't be able to replace it when it begins to last shorter, while with such a great capacity you will probably buy a new device before that happens.

This tablet is really expensive considering it is priced $ 190, while some similar tablet devices are sold for much less than that.
