Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) Review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is a mid-level portable tablet launched many years ago, packing a good performance Dual-Core CPU ticking at 1 GHz, a 7-inches touch-screen, a 3 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 MP front side camera. But let's get into a bit more details.

This tablet is slim and comfortable, although it's not so slim as many other tablets you can find, with a thickness of 0.41 inches. While this tablet is only 7.63 inches long, it is still able to fit a a 7" screen. It seems like Samsung didn't care so much about the weight in this 12.13 ounces tablet.

Samsung decided to equip this tablet with a great performance 1000 MHz Dual-Core processor and 1 GB of RAM memory. This device counts with a 32 GB large internal storage and a slot for an SD memory card, which allows the user to install hundreds of applications without thinking about filling it.

Samsung designed the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) with a good 7-inches display, and a 600 x 1024 resolution, providing this portable tablet with an average graphic quality. Its display uses Super PLS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This tablet features wi-fi connection (although it can't provide it to other devices acting as a hotspot), 4G HSPA+ internet connection, that is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE networks and 3G fast data connection, using HSDPA and UMTS technologies. The Tab 2 (7.0) doesn't use a sim card, because it doesn't work with GSM services.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features two cameras, a 3 MP back camera and a 0.3 MP front camera. The Tab 2 (7.0) can also capture videos in 1280x720 (HD) at 30 frames per second. The camera also features geo tagging and smile detection shooting.

This tablet also comes with some useful characteristics as Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS Geolocation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This device features an amazing 4000 mAh Li-Ion non-removable battery that provides the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) an impressive battery life. An issue to take into consideration is that this tablet's battery isn't replaceable so you won't be able to replace it when it starts to last shorter, whereas with such a huge battery size you will probably replace this tablet device before it becomes a real problem.

This device is priced $ 150, which is a high price for comparing with similar tablets. It doesn't matter whether you want this portable tablet mostly for internet broswing and social networks, want it for work or want this tablet device for gaming, this tablet is probably a good choice for you.
