This tablet is slim and comfortable, being just 0.35 inches thick. It appears that Amazon forgot about weight optimization in this 10.97 ounces device. This device is available just in black color.
Amazon designed this tablet with a high-tech 7 inches display, and a 1200 x 1920 resolution, making everything look absolutely great. Its display uses LCD capacitive technology, with a very good 400 candela/m2 brightness and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.
Amazon sells this tablet with a high speed Quad-Core CPU clocking at 2.26 gigahertz, included in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 8074 system chip with a great 2 GB of RAM memory. To handle graphic rendering, it also has a 450 MHz Adreno 330 GPU. A great aspect of the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is its large 64 GB internal storage memory and though it doesn't include an SD extension slot, it is still enough to store hundreds of applications without even thinking about how much memory is left.

This tablet offers Wi-Fi connection (which it can provide to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G LTE fast connectivity and the fastest 3G internet connection, over HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet doesn't have a SIM card, because it doesn't work with GSM networks.
