Toshiba AT200 is a mid level tablet launched in 2011, equipped with a powerful Dual-Core CPU ticking at 1.2 GHz, an enormous 10.1" touch-screen, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 2 megapixels front-facing camera.
This tablet is only 10.08" long, but it's still able to fit a a 10.1 inches screen. This tablet is just 0.3 inches thick, taking it to the thinnest tablet device's category. It appears that Toshiba didn't care much about the weight in this 19.68 ounces portable tablet.
This tablet includes a good 800 x 1280 10.1 inches display, making everything look nice. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.
Toshiba ships this device with a TI OMAP4430 system chip, including a good performance Dual-Core CPU running at 1200 MHz with 1 GB of RAM memory. Collaborating with graphic calculations, it also has a 200 MHz PowerVR SGX540 GPU. The Toshiba AT200 has an interesting 16 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards, which allows you to install hundreds of games and apps without worrying about space.
This device offers wi-fi connectivity (although it can't be provided to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot). The Toshiba AT200 doesn't use a sim card, because it doesn't work with GSM connections.
This tablet has two cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 2 MP front camera. It is also able to film videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD). Additionally, the camera includes flash.
The Toshiba AT200 also features a handful of interesting characteristics like Bluetooth (2.1) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
This tablet is not a good choice considering it is priced 100 dollars, while some similar tablet devices are sold for much less than that.
