BlackBerry PlayBook is a little outdated BlackBerry Tablet OS device released many years ago, which features a great performance 1000 megahertz Dual-Core processor, a quite big 7-inches multi touch screen, and 2 cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 3 MP front side camera. Let's take a better look at what this tablet device can give us.
The BlackBerry PlayBook is just 0.39" thick, taking it to the thinnest tablet's category. The BlackBerry PlayBook isn't very light comparing to other tablets , with a weight of 14.11 ounces.
Blackberry equipped this tablet with a nice 7-inches screen, and a 600 x 1024 resolution, which makes everything look quite vivid. Its screen uses LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.
Blackberry decided to power this portable tablet with a TI OMAP 4430 system chip, backed up by a fast Dual-Core processing unit speeding at 1000 megahertz and 1 GB of RAM memory. Graphic calculations generally eats a lot of processor cycles, so the BlackBerry PlayBook uses an additional PowerVR SGX540 GPU clocking at 200 megahertz to help handle those graphic tasks. A good point of this tablet is its 32 GB astonishing internal memory and while it doesn't come with a slot for external memory cards, it it is more than enough to install tons of applications, games, photos and videos without even thinking about how much storage is left.
This tablet features two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 3 mega-pixels front side camera. It is also able to shoot videos in Full HD 1920x1080 at 30 fps.
This device offers wifi connectivity (but it can't share it with other devices around, as a mobile mobile hotspot). The BlackBerry PlayBook doesn't have a sim card, because it is not a GSM enabled tablet.
This tablet also comes with a handful of nice features like Bluetooth (allows communication with other bluetooth portable tablets, computers and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
Blackberry offers this tablet for $ 75, which is not a good offer for comparing with similar tablets.
