Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 Review

32 GB     See other variants reviews Score: 59.2 / 100

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is a mid-level device released back in the year 2013, which features a pretty large 7-inches multi-touch screen and an extremely powerful 2.26 GHz Quad-Core processor.

Amazon equipped the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 8074 chip, holding an extremely fast 2260 MHz Quad-Core processing unit with a great 2 GB of RAM memory. Graphic intensive apps and games usually uses lots of CPU processing time, so this tablet uses an extra 450 megahertz Adreno 330 graphics processing unit to take care of them, leaving the CPU free for other tasks. This tablet counts with a huge 32 GB internal storage and although it doesn't come with an SD memory slot, it is still enough to install lots of applications, games, pictures and videos without worrying about running out of space at all.

This tablet is available just in black color. Amazon appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 10.97 oz tablet. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is incredibly slim and stilized, with a thickness of just 0.35 inches. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 only has 7.32" long, but it is able to fit a a 7 inches display.

This tablet doesn't have any cameras.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is equipped with a beautiful 7-inches display with a 1200 x 1920 resolution, which makes all images and videos look brightful and colorful. This display uses LCD capacitive technology, with a brightness of 400 candela/m2 and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 offers wifi capability (and it can share it with other devices acting as a modem or router), 4G (LTE) high speed connectivity and the fastest 3G internet connection, supported by HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet doesn't use a sim card, because it doesn't work with GSM networks.

This device also includes some nice features like Bluetooth and GPS Geolocation, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Gyroscope.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is priced around 100 dollars, which is quite expensive for comparing with similar tablet devices. No matter if you are looking for a gaming tablet device or want this tablet for work, you will probably love this tablet.
