Huawei MediaPad M1 has a global score of 61.5, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s score of 60.7. Huawei MediaPad M1's body is noticeably newer, a little lighter and way thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but the Huawei MediaPad M1 has a more recent 4.2.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1, offering some additional features and a performance increase.

The Huawei MediaPad M1 has a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a quite higher number of pixels in each screen inch, a higher resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a bit larger screen. The Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with just a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also has 2 more cores.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a much better storage capacity to install games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 32 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) also has 32 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with a little bit better camera than Huawei MediaPad M1, although it has a lot worse video definition and a back facing camera with a much lower 3 mega pixels resolution.

The Huawei MediaPad M1 costs a little more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), but it's still a great deal, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
