IPad mini 3 has a general score of 77.4, which is way better than Apple iPad 2's 58.6 global score. These tablets include iOS OS, but the iPad mini 3 has a more recent 8.x version and Apple iPad 2 has iOS 7.x. The iPad mini 3 body is way newer, notably lighter and somewhat thinner than Apple iPad 2.
IPad mini 3 has a better performing processor than Apple iPad 2, and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the iPad mini 3 also has a better graphics co-processor working at 600 megahertz, a 64 bits CPU and a larger amount of RAM. IPad mini 3 features an incredibly better screen than iPad 2, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much greater pixel number per display inch and a way better resolution of 1536 x 2048.
