Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is a high quality Windows device, equipped with a 2.4 gigahertz Quad-Core CPU, a good size 8.3-inches multi-touch display, and 2 cameras, an 8 megapixels back side camera and a 2.2 mega-pixels front facing camera. That's everything we have to say? Not at all, it's just the starting point.
This tablet is very thin, being just 0.35 inches thick. This tablet only has 8.83 inches long and 5.2" wide, but it is still able to fit a a 8.3 inches screen. This time, it seems like Lenovo forgot about weight optimization in this 15.49 ounces tablet.
Lenovo equipped the Lenovo ThinkPad 8 with a good looking 8.3" display, and a 1920 x 1200 resolution, which makes all pictures and movies look beautiful. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is powered by a high performance Quad-Core processing unit running at 2400 MHz, packed into a Intel Atom Z3770 system chip with a big 2 GB of RAM. This tablet has a large 64 GB internal storage and an external memory card slot, allowing you to install hundreds of applications and even the heaviest games available nowadays without having to worry about filling the device.
This tablet has wifi connection (but it can't be provided to other devices around, acting as a wireless modem), LTE (4G) high performance data connection and fast 3G internet connection, using HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This device doesn't use a SIM card, because it doesn't work with GSM connections.
This tablet features two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 2.2 mega-pixels front side camera. It is also able to film Full HD 1920x1080 videos. This camera also has some nice features like flash, auto-focus and geo tagging.
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 also comes with a couple of interesting features like Bluetooth and GPS Navigation, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is not very convinient considering it is sold for 399 dollars, while some similar devices are a lot cheaper than that. No matter whether you will use this tablet for work, want this tablet mostly for internet broswing and social networks or want a gamer portable tablet, you will probably love this tablet.
