Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has a global score of 60.4, which is better than the Acer Iconia One 8's 53.7 overall score. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has the older 3.2 version and Acer Iconia One 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop. Despite of the fact Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition is noticeably older and somewhat heavier than the Acer Iconia One 8, it's design is still just a little thinner.

The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition features a more vivid display than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has a just a bit worse screen pixel density, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition also counts with a little larger display. Acer Iconia One 8 features a little bit better processing power than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, and they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the Acer Iconia One 8 also counts with a greater number of cores.
