Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has an overall score of 62.7, which is much better than the Acer Iconia One 8's 53.7 overall score. Even though Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device than the Acer Iconia One 8, we must highlight that it's also a older, a bit thicker and way heavier device. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has an older 4.0 version while Acer Iconia One 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a little more vivid display than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has a bit lower quantity of pixels per inch of screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also counts with a larger screen. Acer Iconia One 8 has a much better storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has an external memory slot that supports up to 128 GB and 16 GB internal storage.
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has an inferior number of cores , and they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also counts with an extra graphics processor. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a much longer battery lifetime than Acer Iconia One 8, because it has a 7000mAh battery size against 4600mAh.
Acer Iconia One 8 has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a way more megapixels back-facing camera.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Acer Iconia One 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Acer Iconia One 8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Acer Iconia One 8, resigning a couple specifications.
