Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a global score of 58.1, which is just a bit better than the Acer Iconia One 8's global score of 53.7. Both tablets we compare here include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 8.9 has 3.0 version and Acer Iconia One 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop. Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a way older and heavier tablet than the Acer Iconia One 8, but Samsung made it a bit thinner anyway.
Acer Iconia One 8 counts with a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a larger number of cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a sharper screen than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has a bit lower display pixel density, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a bit bigger display.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
