Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is just a bit better than Acer Iconia One 8, getting a score of 57.6 against 53.7. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is a somewhat thinner tablet device than Acer Iconia One 8, but they weight the same. These tablets include Android OS, but Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while Acer Iconia One 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version, providing the user a couple additional features.

Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a little better performance than Acer Iconia One 8, because it has a higher amount of RAM and more CPU cores. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a better screen than Acer Iconia One 8, and although they both have a same size display, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has a greater count of pixels per inch of screen and a lot better resolution of 1200 x 1920.

Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD takes much clearer pictures and videos than Acer Iconia One 8, because it has a camera in the back with lot more megapixels. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's storage for applications, games, photos and videos is just as good as the Acer Iconia One 8 one, both of them have the same 16 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB.

Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with just a bit better battery life than Acer Iconia One 8, because it has an 11 percent bigger battery size.

Although Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Acer Iconia One 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia One 8. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Acer Iconia One 8, giving up a couple specs and features.
